So many things already beloved on their own, combine so well together, you gotta respect the blend. + Cute animal being cute + Innocently sweet robots + Friendship and family ties propelling characters + Rebelling against a dystopic authoritarian regime, which was built by greedy capitalists + Bringing back nature, balance and freedom, to the public, as the fruits of our labor in the end bonus: main monstrous enemies, are designed very cute with squish noises and pudgy eyes. Just lay back, immerse yourself in the world, occupy yourself with side-quests, and have fun being a cat. 10/10
Stray is fantastic and one of those games where I just can't put it into words. It's not a long game, it's not mechanically difficult or complex. But it has me feeling for the Cat and the robots throughout. You wander through a beautiful, broken cybercity and slowly unravel what happened to the world below. I highly highly recommend this game because despite stressful moments - playing as a Cat is so relaxing and there's moments that hit hard and I feel like it represents what the world is turning into these days. 9/10
