updates have been very kind to this game and it's improved a lot since launch, especially if you own the dlc. has issues tracking achievements if that's something you care about but otherwise it's a great dungeon crawler with a soundtrack that could be mistaken for the never published third c418 minecraft album and performance that i wish regular minecraft would run with.
It's hard to find the proper words to describe how much I enjoyed this game throughout its lifespan. I played every main and DLC level, did numerous Tower runs, got every achievement, and through it all had the same friends to do it with me. Minecraft Dungeons is an interesting and engaging solo experience that encourages experimenting and finding that perfect build to carry you to victory, but what makes it really special is having your teammates helping you clear tough dungeons and save the world from those pesky Illagers. Even with Dungeons II on the horizon, I truly believe this game will still hold up relatively well for years to come. And don't be fooled by that roughly 40 hours of playtime on this review, my other consoles tell a different story entirely. Minecraft Dungeons (and likely alongside its sequel) is my favorite Minecraft spin-off ever made. Do give it a try.
