It's the best one
Okay, I can understand why people like it, however the entire game feels extremely jank and frustrating throughout the entire thing. I played for 29 hours, felt like I was going absolutely nowhere, and managed to get so fed up with the most horrific, most God awful, most genuinely infuriating respawn system which punishes you extra for dying. It was already an awful thing to die in DS1. Making it even MORE punishing by reducing your health by 10% every single time encourages players to either have godly skill or grind during the beginning of the game until you're absurdly overpowered. That by itself ruined the game for me, but to make it worse, the animations on enemies are noticeably worse than they were in DS1. Enemies will glitch through objects, attacks will go through walls, attacks you clearly dodged will somehow manage to hit and insta-kill you. Over all, the game looks amazing and has the potential to actually be enjoyable. However because of those reasons, I simply cannot bring myself to play this game any longer because it has so thoroughly made me hate playing it that I am seriously considering not playing another souls like game, despite my love for DS1 and other souls likes.
yep its the best souls game can confirm after a seamless replay
Although the game has some pretty heavy flaws, it's a good game. If your playing through the souls series this may be the worse out of them all but thats just comparing the other games to this one. In game standards this is a great game, and with patience it can be fun.
