Arise and seize the lands of the living as the Supreme Lord of Necromancy, Nagash, in Total War: WARHAMMER III, unleashing his forces of the undead upon the world in his ascension to godhood.
Campaign Feature – The Lands of the Dead
Nagash’s vision is to amass legions of undead warriors, erect vast necropolises to his own glory, and transform the world into a vast Land of the Dead. In doing so he gathers dark energy, empowering his arcane Black Pyramid to unleash the true potential of his forces. To aid him, he must gather the nine Mortarchs, his lieutenants in the trials to come, and reclaim the lost Books of Nagash to become the mightiest spellcaster the world has ever seen. Only when the world lies in ruin before him will his final aim be realised: ascension to godhood.
Battle Playstyle
Nagash is a supremely powerful spellcaster who wields the Lore of Undeath in battle, though he can access many more spells from other Lores as the Books of Nagash are returned to him. He can raise units from the complete range of Undead rosters, including Tomb Kings, Vampire Counts and Vampire Coast units, making his armies uniquely flexible in battle depending on their composition. In addition, he may recruit the following new units.
● Legendary Lord - Nagash
● Legendary Hero - Dieter Helsnicht
● Legendary Hero - Walach Harkon
● Lord - High Liche Priest (Lores of Nehekhara, Light, Death or Undeath)
● Hero - Tomb Herald
● Unit - Drakenhof Templars
● Unit - Spirit Host
● Unit - Morghast Harbingers
● Unit - Morghast Archai
● Unit - Khemric Titan
● Unit - Coven Throne
● Regiment of Renown - Icon of Usirian (Khemric Titan)
● Regiment of Renown – Sepulchrex (Ushabti)
● Regiment of Renown – The Silent Legion (Morghast Archai)

fak the haters cuz they suc ass i love this dlc :3
Very boring and tedious for a powerful lord lore-wise. The only benefit to buying this DLC is that it unlocks units for the other vampire counts. I'd rather play as any of the other vampire count lords than this one. This is basically a wood elves campaign disguised as the tomb kings and vampire counts. If you enjoyed the wood elves campaign it might be worth it for you, but i went into this dlc hoping for something new and got something recycled. I read another review saying that you can't solo with him using auto-resolve at the start, but i only play auto-resolve and i assure you, you definitely can do this, you have to rely solely on ambushes to win though.
the confederation system must be done again, you cannot recruit mortarchs unless you are at war with them and they have 5 or fewer settlements which is impossible if they expand
First time i give a positive review for a CA DLC. Nagash actually feels different. Has a lot of new mechanics like a Tech/Skill Tree instead of normal tech unique recruitment and confederation mechanics and extremely diverse army building options. Only minor downside is the lack of unique units which on the other hand is kinda lore accurate because he uses a roster from all the other undead factions plus 4ish new units.
One of the best dlcs they've released. Nagash is a treat. He is super strong on his own. Undead armies have always needed support from there heroes or big units but nagash is a monster. His econ takes some getting used to but hes a fun faction.
