Classy art and music, intriguing puzzles, but ends rather hastily. Was a tad surprised how such a game full of inspiration got neglected by the majority but I`d definitely give it a 9.
Interesting story and loads of puzzles! Looking fwd to see more of it, the art is unique and i like the voice over, it's like a sci-fi noir. Amazing it was only done by one person!

Some of the puzzles take you out of the flow of the game, but other than that I really enjoyed this game.
good difficulty level, amazing art style and music, the story was a little vague but still ended with a satisfying punch imo. 8/10 stars!

Murder on Space Station 52 is not a very good murder mystery, but it is a fun game. A sci-fi noir set on the rotted out, mostly abandoned titular space station, you play a mechanical engineer investigating a murder no one else seems particularly interested in seeing solved. I'll start with the weaker elements: - The mystery itself is mechanically backgrounded to an intense degree. You spend a lot of time tackling your classic adventure game style puzzles to get people to disclose information, but the design allocatates the dedication of your attention is largely to the puzzle at hand, rather than the mystery at large. I don't mind that too much, but when the murder mystery came back up, the reason for doing all this, I often went "oh yeah, that." - the animations for characters are... unimpressive, for the strength of the general art design. - While I guessed the killer correctly on the first try, it was pretty vibes based on my part. The suspects are broadly introduced and not really explored in any notable depth. There's a number of seemingly viable candidates, but the actual list of motives seemed to actually only really end up at one common one for the most part. But don't let that discourage you too much, there are some strong positives as well - The moment to moment gameplay, largely, was very enjoyable. While I stalled on a couple sections, being uncertain on how to proceed with the puzzles for a bit, the puzzles largely had a nice balance of requiring you to think creatively and using some adventure game silliness. - the voice acting is amateurish, but I honestly enjoyed that. A lot of the aliens are the main designer and dev doing funny voices modified by a computer, and that hooked me much more than a disorganized cast would've. The noir elements of the writing including the main character's monologues give me a similar warm fuzzy feeling, a cute reaction to earnestness by a small project. - the puzzles are contained to each chapter, giving good bite sized sections of gameplay and avoiding the classic adventure game trap of holding onto objects for ages with no clue what they do or why you have them until hours later. - the art is the biggest selling point. The hand-drawn style is consistent through out, with strange tentacled aliens and our diving suited protagonist. Just look at the pictures on the store page, you'll see it for yourself. If that hooks you, and you like adventure games, you'll probably enjoy the game.
