How to Buy an Xbox Gift Card in Sri Lanka

An Xbox gift card in Sri Lanka only works if it was made for the same country or region as your Microsoft account. That is the one thing to settle before you order from VaultX.lk. Look up the region on your account, pick the matching Xbox Live card, message us, pay by bank transfer, Koko or Payzy, and we send you the code.

The cards are for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. Your Xbox takes its store, billing and accepted codes from the region on your Microsoft account, so that region decides which card you need. All of our cards are on the Xbox gift cards page.

Five steps from account check to code

1. 1. Find the region on your account

   Sign in to your Microsoft account and open Your info. The country or region shown there is the one your Xbox uses, and the one your card has to match.

2. 2. Pick the matching card

   Search the Xbox gift cards page for that country and open its card. Countries inside the European Union share a single EU card. If you cannot find your region, ask us before you pay.

3. 3. Send us your order

   Tap Place the order. WhatsApp opens with the card already written into the message. Discord also works, but answers there can be slower, so switch to WhatsApp if Discord stays quiet.

4. 4. Hear back on stock and price

   We reply with the amounts in stock for your region today and the rupee price. Stock moves during the day, which is why the site shows no amounts.

5. 5. Pay and get your code

   Pay by bank transfer, or spread the cost over 3 interest-free installments with Koko or 4 with Payzy. You get a payment link or our bank details. After that we send the code, and you redeem it on the Microsoft account you checked in step 1.

We do not list a Sri Lanka card. Use whichever region your Microsoft account is set to, and message us before paying if yours is missing.

What if the card and the account region differ?

A code works only on an account in the region it was bought for. Otherwise Xbox can refuse it with a message such as "This code was purchased in a different region and cannot be redeemed." The fix is a card for your account's region, so check twice before you pay.

Should I change my Microsoft account region?

Microsoft advises a change only if you are moving to another country or region for a long time. Before you consider it, know that:

• Content tied to the old region can stop working in the new one. Microsoft names Game Pass, apps, games, movies and your account balance.
• Money left in your Microsoft account stays behind when you switch. Microsoft's advice is to spend it first.
• A change can be blocked if you already changed region in the last three months, if your account is suspended, or if your legal-minor status would differ between the two regions.
• Xbox Support adds that you need a billing address and payment option matching your region, or you may see a region block error.

Redeeming your code

Sign in to the Microsoft account whose region you checked, then follow Microsoft's own instructions: Microsoft Support has a page on redeeming a gift card or code to your Microsoft account. Its screens change from time to time, so if it differs from what you see here, trust Microsoft's page.

Are Xbox gift cards refundable?

Not once the code has been sent: the sale is final, even if you chose the wrong region or card. Confirm your region and Microsoft account first. The refund policy has the full rules.
