goodd mayne
Making custom battle scenarios is less straight forward if you want to save them and it was a little frustrating trying to make things work how I wanted them to, however, once I figured it out, it's been great using the sandbox with upgraded graphics, and I'm honestly blown away by the graphics, not because they are the greatest in the world, but because they look great on my laptop that only has integrated graphics leading me to believe the game is a decently optimized graphics upgrade. I'm also surprised the AI can handle larger battles. I haven't figured out vehicles yet, but I mostly use infantry anyways. Not for everyone, I prefer the old tools and editor over what they have now as they were more intuitive. If they don't go back to the old editor AI for ARMA4, I think it may hurt the experience if it's too difficult to figure out how to make scenarios to play with friends.
very good game i love it
Good game but runs like hell on mid pc
Honestly, my biggest gripe with Arma Reforger is how empty the FOBs feel. There can be a ton of FOBs all over the map, but most of them have like 4 or 5 people at them, if that. In reality, even a smaller FOB or outpost would probably have dozens of people around it, and a bigger one could easily have 50-100+ depending on what it is. I get that it's a game and you obviously can't have 50-100 actual players sitting at every FOB, but I really wish there were more AI, guards, support personnel, patrols, etc. just to make the bases actually feel occupied. Sometimes you roll up to what is supposed to be an important military position and it's basically 4 dudes, a Humvee, and a supply truck lol. Then everyone leaves and the entire FOB is just empty. That's probably my biggest immersion breaker with the combat. The actual firefights, radios, vehicles, logistics, weapons, movement, and everything else can feel insanely realistic, but the overall military presence can feel way too small for the scale of the map. Other than that though, honestly 10/10. When you get into a good server with people actually communicating and playing together, Reforger is some of the best multiplayer combat I've played.
