ZA WARUDO! Toki yo tomare!
Shockingly amazing game. I had pretty low expectations of "just another indie game" but WOW Ive been quite blown away... Very fun and much deeper builds and combat than I expected. The music goes insanely hard as well this is not fair
I really want to like this game. The chibi art style drew me in, but I have a few issues with it. 1. Map design is identical across all playthroughs. There's no variation, so you end up taking the same paths every time. 2. Most of the time, it feels like the game is just stat-checking you. You want to clear stages as quickly as possible before your time limit runs out. The problem is that enemies in later stages have absurd amounts of health, defense, and damage. When an enemy drops your HP to zero, it reduces your time limit, eventually leading to a lost run. 3. This leads to my next issue: at some point in stage 3, it feels like you need to get at least legendary, unique, or set bonus gear. Most of the time, you need gear with better stat percentages to progress, and upgrading gear requires an absurd amount of currency to max out. 4. The gameplay loop isn't that great either. The time-stop mechanic is unique, but later stages bypass it entirely. This results in the stat-check problem I mentioned earlier: Do you have better gear and stats than your enemy? Great! If not, go farm better gear and currency. 5. Sorting the storage in a nightmare due to you sort 5 tabs that are independent of each other. So I want to look up set bonus, I have look at all 5 tabs to see my set bonus. There are time when I have duplicate unique item set and the game only allows you to equip only 1 unique item. I do this game has potential, but I think it need major rework.
