Good
Pure nostalgia done right. I received the original Black Flag back for Christmas in 2013 and absolutely loved it. Resynced brings all of that magic back in full force. If you loved the original, you will love this—it is pure nostalgia with a fresh coat of paint. The reworks are handled really well. While you can still tell in a few places that it's built on a classic foundation (especially with some of the updated facial animations), the game looks beautiful overall and plays smooth. Best of all, it stays true to classic Assassin's Creed. There are no modern RPG systems like in Odyssey or Valhalla—it goes straight back to the old-school AC roots that made the series famous. Pros: Classic AC Roots: Pure stealth, parkour, and naval combat without RPG bloat. Gorgeous Visual Upgrade: The world and lighting updates look fantastic while keeping the original vibe intact. Addictive Content: So much fun that I’ve almost 100% completed it (had to take a short breather to avoid completionist burnout, but I’m definitely going back to finish it off). Cons: Shows its age in minor areas, like dated facial movements during cutscenes. It’s a faithful remaster/remake—if you didn't like the 2013 original, this won't change your mind. Verdict: A fantastic return to one of the best pirate games ever made. If you grew up sailing with Edward Kenway, this visual update is an absolute must-play.
ive always loved this game.
13 Years later and I can truly say I enjoyed it just as much. I know they messed up the combat and story but I had fun.
