hollyy such a good game that i was committed to get every achievement
Favourite game for a while would recomend
As far as I am concerned, this was the last "good" Assassin's Creed. I thought the RPG element, being new, was cool for its own title, but now it is every title in the series, and that just does not work for me. Big fan of AC1 and the Ezio Collection, so call me old fashion, but this game is truly a gem—the last one.
Its good. I still prefer the older style of Assassin's Creed, and this one starts off pretty slow/poor and it takes some time to get a proper feel for it, but it does pick up later on and ends particularly strong. I think the combat is a little rough and janky (mostly with enemy AI and their reactions) but the stealth is still fun if simpler and de-emphasised than before. The main draw for me was just clearing all of the map locations and outposts (Im kind of a sucker for the ubisoft tower/outpost clearing with stealth formula) and the narrative - you play as Bayek and he kinda carries the game by being an extremely likeable protagonist and the voice actor does an incredible job with him.
