worth
A similar DLC is available for the first Batman Telltale game and here the purpose is identical: to give the game a noir feeling with emphasis on black and white colours. What's more is the presence of additional colours to highlight the characteristics of a particular individual such as the mask worn by Riddler or Joker's hair. Also, blood is typically red all the time. An interesting concept and it received some negative feedback as some dismissed it being just a simple modification and more of a "financial support DLC for Telltale". I'm not sure how much work was put into this but it certainly represents a great touch and should you have the desire to return to this series and do another walkthrough, I recommend applying the shadows mode. No associated achievements. This can be launched from the main menu. I would say it is a tad bit expensive but when discounted, it's worth purchasing it.

Unless you buy this in a bundle or on sale, I wouldn't say it's worth it. Pretty much all it does is put a filter over the game. I've personally never used it and don't plan to. I only purchased this to support Telltale.
