I loved playing through this! Reminded me of both a detective story anime and a table top gaming session, which makes sense given the source material and inspirations. If you like either of those, I would recommend this game.

Overall, A fun game, but it has some issues. For the price of $6, it's about an hour-long experience, so not bad value, but not a bargain. Additionally, this entire series seems a little... well, hard to jump into. It seems like there's a BUNCH of games in this series, and I have no idea what order I'm supposed to play them in. Some of them seem like sequels to this game, others prequels. And, of course, since these are just chapters in the story, the ending felt sort of... unfulfilling, something that I wasn't aware of until later. Ultimately, I think all of these problems could be solved if the devs marketed all of this universe's games in one big collection, maybe adding DLC for new stories, since that would give a better expectation that this is just some chapters in a larger narrative, and also help clowns like me realize that this isn't a complete story. But I'd settle for a simple 'play in this order for the full experience' tab that's easy to find. If one exists, my brain is too small to find it. Anyway, final complaint I have is that the mysteries basically solve themselves. It feels like we aren't here to solve a mystery, but more to watch one unfold, which feels like a missed opportunity. I guess it works better as horror than as a mystery in that way. All that said, I'd reccomend this game based mainly on the fact that I want to continue the story. Lily and Sally have a really fun dynamic, and seem like a great, cursed yuri pair. I do wish that the game focused more on their relationship, but it seems like other games in the series go over stuff like that. TLDR: Game is flawed for sure, but is charming enough that I plan on buying the other games in the series.

This was fun! Horror's not generally my genre, but the humor kept it light enough to enjoy, and the mystery had enough going that I felt invested but not confused or blindsided. The protag's actions largely make sense in context, which is a huge deal for me. Definitely worth the price.

"Will Dyson will die soon!" is the best thing I've ever read

It's fun! I get that at full price you could probably buy games you could play for longer, but I think for what it is it's ok (I got it 20% off). It really is a B-horror mystery comedy (it reminds me of scary movies). It's short and cheesy, but I liked it and will check out the rest of the series. I enjoyed my time playing this more than I would have enjoyed buying and watching a slasher movie, which would still cost a similar amount.
