Coco wakes up hungry when a mysterious flyer leads him to the Cat God’s maze trial. If he can pass the trial, endless dried fish await. Along the way, a tiny mouse friend appears throughout the maze, pointing the way and helping you gradually understand each puzzle’s rules.
Study the positions of walls, boxes, pipes, and exits. In tight spaces, push boxes, adjust Coco’s position, and find the perfect spot where he can squeeze out of a pipe and explode right away!
Travel from sunny flower fields to midsummer rainforests, late-autumn ruins, and snow-covered wastelands. Each area brings a distinct atmosphere and new mechanics. Beneath the cute hand-drawn style is solid puzzle design for players who enjoy box-pushing, spatial planning, and elegant little brain teasers.

Cat Squeeze is a nice time for sokoban fans looking for a twist on basic box pushing. The player-cat enters pneumatic tubes. When a tube exit has only one free space for the cat to exit, the cat explodes in a fit of anxiety or something and blows up a 2x3 area. It's as ridiculous a premise as it sounds and I'm absolutely here for it. Puzzles are definitely on the chill, easy-moderate side of difficulty but, you know, not every game needs to break my brain. There are good ideas here and combined with the mega cute art and vibes, I recommend Cat Squeeze, especially for a little break between more substantial puzzle games. Check it out!

A clever and great puzzle game is really fun
The puzzles in this game are good, and at the perfect level of difficulty. They aren't too easy or so hard you have to squeeze your brain cells until they explode.

The premise is funny and allows for a clever core mechanic that puts its own spin on the base sokoban style gameplay. The cute presentation matches the delightfulness of the gameplay and there are plenty of levels that explore all the applications of the core idea, with additional gadgets introduced in each of the following areas. The mandatory puzzles that need to be solved to clear the story are not too difficult but no pushover either. There are more optional hard levels too. At the time of writing this review I rolled credits and did enough optional content to get to 57% clear rate, after playing for 8.3 hours. I also previously played the demo so I probably took less time in the first area than completely new players. I think the game is great, 4/5 and mostly flawless in what it sets out to achieve. The only criticism I have is that undo should work on resets too. It's no biggie though and other than that QoL is very good. For some reason the frame rate during the opening cutscene gets weirdly low (even on PC) but in the rest of the game it is fine. I played on Quest 3, using GameNative.
