the art is really good, very charming. the game looks amazing visually, but playing it felt repetitive, like i was doing the same thing over and over with the only goal to be able to do that thing better next time. there is a story, but it took too long for me to progress i just ended up bored. also, generative AI is used to assist with translation. tldr characters fun, art charming, gameplay felt slow and repetitive.
Chill, tons of content and plenty of mini games. The music and art style are really nice and the writing includes plenty of puns and references. Although some parts are challenging at first, the game is quite forgiving and doesn't punish failure very much. I found it pretty relaxing. Lots of value for the price and an overall enjoyable experience.

Dave the Diver is basically “What if a diver had to catch fish by day and become Gordon Ramsay at night?” 😂 You swim around catching fish, fighting sea monsters, finding treasures, then rush back to serve sushi to hungry customers. The game is chaotic, funny, and surprisingly addictive.
This game is the reason I bought a steam deck years ago. 5/5 must buy
