Step into the world of divine horror in Dead by Daylight's first community-created Chapter: Chorus of Sin. Play as The Judgment, a divine Killer sent to cleanse the world in flame, and Aurora Stardotter, a resolute Survivor leading her people out of the ashes.
Dead by Daylight: Chorus of Sin
Violent destruction guided by divine purpose. Scientific reason tempered by unshakable faith. The vengeful meets the virtuous in Dead by Daylight: Chorus of Sin, an original Chapter featuring a new Killer, The Judgment, and a new Survivor, Aurora Stardotter.
The Judgment
A member of the Celestial Echelon, The Judgment metes out divine punishment throughout the cosmos. When the people of Terra Primus aspired to godhood, The Judgment answered their sins with fiery retribution, razing their cities to the ground with pillars of divine light. So began a decades-long apocalypse that turned their paradise into a wasteland.
POWER: DIVINE LIGHT
Channel a pillar of Divine Light that injures Survivors and applies Heresy.
KILLER EFFECT: HERESY
Survivors gain Heresy when hit by Divine Light or by taunting The Judgment. Heretics suffer from special Skill Checks when repairing Generators, regressing their progress when the Great Skill Check zone is missed.
KILLER SUB-REALM: EXILE
Instead of using a Hook, downed Heretics may instead be banished to Exile, where they must avoid dangerous Seeds of Punishment or risk speeding up their demise. While there are Heretics in Exile, The Judgment will become Zealous, empowering Divine Light.
If a Heretic has two Hook states when they are downed, The Judgment may choose to kill them instead of sending them to Exile.
KILLER OBJECT: SHRINES OF JUDGMENT
Shrines of Judgment will spawn throughout the Trial. Survivors may Repent at these Shrines to cleanse themselves of their Heresy or use them to Liberate any Heretics trapped in Exile.
The Judgment’s Perks
Hex: Under Your Thumb: The first time a Survivor gains a Hook state, ignite a Dull Totem that limits their Haste.
Lay Waste: Whenever you damage a Generator, it will regress faster the further it has been repaired.
Celestial Witness: Briefly reveal your Obsession's aura when they are at a distance.
Aurora Stardotter
A member of the Searchers, Aurora was meant to be executed with her brethren in Ultracapitalis. But when The Judgment unleashed its fury on Terra Primus, Aurora escaped into the chaos, using her gift of star-reading to lead others to safety. As the Judgment returned time and time again to cleanse the world further, Aurora met with it to plead the plight of her people, only to find herself cast into the depths of Exile instead. It was only by the grace of a group of survivors that she was liberated into a world of endless fog.
Aurora Stardotter's Perks
Fruits of Your Labor: Accumulate tokens for each completed Generator. Finishing a Generator's repairs briefly grants you Haste and increases your accumulated healing for each token you possess.
Salvation's Cry: While being chased by the Killer, both of your auras will be briefly revealed to fellow Survivors. Your teammates' auras will be visible to you in turn.
Boon: Steadfast: Create a Boon Totem that causes Generators in range to regress slower and be repaired faster.
Exclusive Chapter Cosmetics
The Chorus of Sin Chapter includes an exclusive cosmetic for both characters: The Judgment's Peridot Incarnation and Aurora's Fate's Chosen. These are only available as part of the DLC and cannot be purchased separately.

Whoever decided the final balancing on The Judgement needs to be fired. This killer breaks every rule of the basic killer handbook and is the first killer that just wasn't designed with the games current health in mind. First, the core power, the dreaded Divine Light is just so stupid. The power is basically a column of death that can be used at close, medium, and long range. And, get this, has almost zero punishment for missing! She can just whip the power back up and use it again, after 6 seconds. But, that's assuming you miss and considering this things moves at the speed of light, you rarely miss. And even if you miss your intended target, somehow this thing homing beacons onto the next nearest survivor in its path. If this was all she had in her kit, I wouldn't be too upset. It definitely is strong on it's own and could've been great without Heresy and Exile. Heresy is pretty straightforward, if you get hit by her Divine Light, you get Heresy. And there is a quirky part where if you teabag or taunt enough, you also get Heresy. But it's what Heresy does and how easily you get it that makes it so broken. If a survivor is affected by Heresy, they have a nice glowing symbol around them to show it. And they can remove Heresy by interacting with one of the statues scattered around the map. Again, standard DBD stuff so far until we get to Exile. The Exile mechanic is identical to Pyramid Head's cages. You get Heresy, and if you get downed, you get put into a cage. This power on it's own is very strong which is why it has such a difficult activation on Pyramid Head. So, WHY DOES SHE GET IT EVERYTIME SHE HITS WITH POWER. It makes Pyramid Head's cages the terrible store brand version of this power. The only reason to play Pyramid Head now is because he is just a much cooler and more well balanced killer (no unique ideas here). I have to end my Pyramid Head rant here, but you should get the gist by now. This ability is super strong, especially if you can activate it every time you use your power. It is ridiculous how strong the Divine Light and Exile mechanic work together. But yet, she still has more parts of her kit that make her stronger. When the killer puts someone into Exile, she gets a temporary buff called Zealous. A temporary buff that LAST 60 SECONDS! I don't understand, why? Why does a strong killer need a temporary buff in the first place when at the core they are incredibly strong. And it isn't like it is a niche buff that gives nothing, it buffs every aspect of her power by a significant amount. Her DIvine Light gets a 10% column size increase, the column lasts an additional 50%, the cooldown is reduced by 20%, and a control thing that is somewhat minimal. But either way, that is outrageous that they think her kit needs such a substantial buff. And this isn't even including the recent aura perk buffs and her insta-mori (fairly niche tbh). But this killer is just so poorly made for this game and just isn't fun to play against. And I know there will be people who will say, "bUt ThE cOmMuNiTy DeSiGnEd ThEm?" But Behaviour Interactive literally can choose everything else around the killer's stats. They also created the prompts and ideas that players would select in the building process. Overall, we selected options that they offered, this is not the same as fully designing the killer. Honestly, I don't know what the strategy would be to tone down this killer. My obvious thought would be to make it harder or more difficult for survivors to get Heresy. It is easily the strongest part of her kit and it isn't close. Divine Light is also very strong but I think a small nerf to range, speed, and/or cooldown would be fine. The rest isn't too frustrating, but my frustration comes from just how much incredibly powerful stuff she has. Imagine Nurse, with the power cooldown of Henry Creel, and whenever her Special Attack lands, she can send them a Pyramid Head Cage. It isn't fun, it isn't intuitive, it just sucks.

Behavior took our votes as a community and just threw them aside. This is not what we voted for.

Now hear me out before I get hate, this killer is pretty difficult to learn but can be very rewarding when you get the skill. It goes either way

Yeah lets make an killer that ignores every fun element that made DBD, the DBD, yeah it jus ignores everything thats very cool. No need for mind games or stuff. Just shoot bro it's fine you'll get em next time. Peak Killer Design ("We choose the killer" is not even argument bro)

Killer is incredibly good, but they aren't designed for Dead By Daylight in mind, since they don't interact with survivors in a conventional way. You shoot your lasers at them from close or long range, but you rarely ever need to be close. Think of them like Henry Creel, very little to no killer/survivor interaction which makes them a very boring killer to play against.
