very good underrated horror game
The retro look is fun and interesting, but I can't say I enjoyed the puzzle aspect - it felt more gimmicky that smart to me. Got really old after an hour of gameplay. Sadly I cannot recommend this.
Some puzzles gave me a throbbing headache...in a strangely good way.
Incredibly interesting and extremely brilliant puzzles. I found the puzzles to be really difficult but it always feels fresh even if that means a really cool mechanic is used once or twice. The story is also super super good.
This game is hands down one of the most creative uses of 'computer horror' I have seen in a really long time. I appreciate that this game ultimately keeps all of its scares within its own universe. It does not try to scare you with anything from your own PC, which is something that happens really commonly in horror games now - which is fine, but begins to get stale. THIS game however, uses SO many cool features that we all typically forget or just mindlessly use every day and forces you to use them to solve puzzles. I cannot praise this game enough for making the puzzles actually challenging and make an impact on you and how you view technology as a whole. I truly hope that certain individuals who like to tell a certain program too much information about themselves can learn the impact it can have - and how it can take so, so much away from you without realizing it. PLEASE play this game as blind as you can. Go into it knowing that it is not really a SCARY game, more just spooky/unsettling. Absolutely fantastic story, execution, art, style, just everything. I cannot praise this enough.
