Played on hard. Early game is ok because you are exploring a new area. Then you realize you are just fighting reskinned enemies and bosses over and over again. Some bosses are extremely annoying and just keeps teleporting away from you, the final boss is also the same so screw greatsword players i guess. Post-game is mostly just spawner events where the game throw all the enemies at you then you fight the enhanced version of the final boss, which is again not fun because he just keeps teleporting. The post-game dragon fight is the worst, it felt like they have no idea how to make a boss difficult so they just throw all the BS at you, summon all the mobs and minor bosses and every hit from the dragon sends you flying and lying face down on the ground. And the dragon is so freaking big you can't even see what attack he is doing. It felt just like a cheap and failed copy of Safi'Jiva. TLDR: Early-game - OK Mid-game - Slightly annoying boss fight but still ok Late & Post-game - Unfun & just plain annoying boss fight Story is whatever Sidequests are whatever Sound design is amazing Voice acting is good Music is good Extremely disappointing boss design considering the bosses are so fun to fight in Monster Hunter and Onimusha. They should just let the monster hunter team design all their boss fights. Do not recommend

The expansion completes the game perfectly. it is amazing and gameplay wise feels superior in my opinion to DDDA however it's story is somewhat weaker to DDDA but is still great, it is just a shame that Capcom constantly mismanages their IP's since their incompetent executives assume won't bring in blockbuster level profits leading to said games under performing. If they had just spent a bit more money and development time the base game would have been in a better spot rather than 2 years later releasing this DLC to finally address the base games performance issues as such a lot of people will not come back to give this great DLC a chance as Capcom has burnt their goodwill. They should however give it a shot.
