Just about 17 hours so far. First time I've properly played a Blackmill game, and I must admit, I got more than I was expecting. The suppression system is fantastic, easily up their with Red orchestra 2, and making even rapid Bolt action fire capable of keeping peoples heads down. Some Games (hint, hint, Arma reforger) should learn from this. Outdoing THE milsim game franchise in making you have some level of care for your life is embarrassing for Refrogger, and genuinely makes me kinda sad as I also quite enjoy Arma. The gunplay is wonderful, even if it takes time to get used to. Weapons are punchy, and the time to kill makes you seek cover instinctively, with the help of the suppression of course. I've also yet to find a weapon I couldn't make genuine use of. You'd think a Martini Henry isn't very useable in close quarters, and you'd be right, but its not impossible. Attacker - defender balancing is also genuinely good! It was very one sided early on, defender almost always won. Now however, it genuinely, to me anyway, feels like it can go either way. I've consistently had games (much to my buddies chagrin) where I've openly said "yeah its ♥♥♥♥♥♥. We're done" and we've pulled it back from the brink IF the team can pull itself together, which in my opinion, is incredibly rare as far as modern video game balancing. Its usually a steam roll - get steam rolled issue. This is probably also down to the map design. Ample cover, but equally ample choke points and positions in the defenders favour also. A good defence team can arguably keep the other pinned down outside the wire, without them ever getting close to your trenches/defensive positions. Likewise, a good attacking team can keep its momentum if working together well enough. It also helps that the game is just genuinely a very pretty game, even if I do dislike how close the weapons are to the screen though thats apparently going to be altered or we'll be given an option for it in some way! Its genuinely a wonderful game, and I don't think I'll change my mind any time soon lol.
♥♥♥♥♥ my audio up with "hands free headset", refunded
Very fun game, fast paced and tactical. Hit reg is a bit ♥♥♥♥ atm but doesn't affect gameplay to to much.
