You’ve landed the dream job - mayor of a picturesque town rife with potential. Congrats! The spec promised rolling hills & friendly locals. What it didn’t mention was that the place is a total fixer upper.
So, roll up your sleeves and take charge as a hands-on mayor on the go. Plan neighbourhoods, place buildings and transport routes, welcome visitors, and turn them into happy, productive residents.
Watch your town grow and blossom, then keep it running when things get busy, messy, or go wonderfully sideways.
Lay down your streets, then place businesses, homes, and services where they’ll thrive. Welcome tourists, keep them happy, and give them plenty of reasons to stick around and make your town their home. Hire workers, keep shops stocked, and make sure the money keeps flowing, then upgrade, expand, and unlock new ways to help your town flourish.
Tailor each business, industry zone and building configuration to suit your wants and needs. Assign workers, optimise supply chains, set-up logistics networks and watch your systems go from strength to strength. Will you let automation do the heavy lifting, or will you be the Mayor of Micromanagement?
As mayor, you deserve the perfect place to call home. Dive into immersive house customisation with full 360° placement and a handy colour picker, so every corner looks exactly the way you want it. Need a new look while you work? Step into the Change-O-Tron. Your mayor. Your style. Trinicorncycle optional (but encouraged).
Play solo for ultimate control over your town, making every inch exactly to your liking, or team-up with up to four mayors in online co-op, mixing local and online play for just the right amount of teamwork and chaos. Chat, emote, and ping your location to rally help when things get busy. Just don’t spend all your time running each other over.

You know the rug with the roads and town buildings you saw as a kid? Go-Go Town feels like that rug come to life. Lots happening in this town, including silly fun. Animal Crossing mixed with city sim. I'm not huge on resource management / assembly line games, but I was completely fine with the level of it in this game. I would love a hard mode or challenge type DLC, even as someone who usually only plays normal mode. The story never felt challenging one bit (just a little waiting), so I feel like I never actually "mastered" the flow of resources.
This was very satisfying to play, it had so many creative options. The goals to achieve really helped keep the motivation going.
Has been a fun cozy game to come too when I just want to chill.
I was sold on this game before I had even bought it, and I must admit it was well worth the purchase! The town building was fruitful, with the unlocking of new land and increasing the number of townies in your town making for really smooth points of progression. I couldn't put my finger on what made this game so nostalgic, until someone told me it reminds them of Animal Crossing. Which is funny as I hadn't play too much Animal Crossing, but then again I played a lot of MySims growing up so there is the reminiscence of that too... I really liked the different biomes, the variation of tourists to account for, and also the delivery service that brought about automated income. It also for the most part was a fun game to collect achievements in... For the most part. My only gripe with it was the achievement where you have to get 50,000 coins, as it wasn't accumulative but rather meant that upon reaching rank 1 in the town rankings and removing the coin and ego caps, you have to let the game run to muster up the coins needed for the achievement. Now maybe I wasn't as optimized as other players and took longer than everyone else to get the 50,000, but nevertheless this delayed my completion of the 100% and reminded me of my least favourite aspect of completing the 100% in Forager (which also involved accumulating money). But other than that, this game was a relaxing experience, a rewarding one that provided satisfying moments throughout my playthrough. Maybe I will come back for a multiplayer session in the future, who knows? I give Go-Go Town an 8.5/10

I love this game! It's so fun that I am disappointed that it has so little content. I want to keep playing but I am at the point where there is nothing more to do. Please add more content; maps, visitors, mysteries, buildings, side quests, tool wheel, etc. This game has so much potential!
