More like "Ultimate Skid Simulator" A waste of time and money. When I first loaded in, it seemed pretty interesting - it was a simulated desktop obviously modeled after KDE, even with the mock App Store and so forth. After doing a mission or two, however, cracks begin to appear. 1. It's far too easy. It requires no real thought or creativity, and offers no real challenge. The handholding is *ridiculous*. 2. It obviously shoots for realism - it uses real commands (`apt-get`, `nmap`, `lynx`, `hydra`, etc.) - but the interest in realism stops there. It's purely superficial. `nmap`'s output is pretty close to the real thing! ...but it requires passing an IP address and can't resolve DNS names? `lynx` isn't a curses-based web browser, it's some sort of OSINT tool (they couldn't go for emulating SpiderFoot?), etc. 3. It has a very distinct "made by AI" stink to it pervasive throughout. Particularly the voice acting. I was expecting accented broken English (see #4) on voice lines, but the voice acting was American English accent - with broken grammar. Along with a suspicious previous-gen AI "stilt" to it - you recognize it when you hear it. 4. They should have hired English translators if they're going to offer it in English. Granted, the broken barely-decipherable English text DOES add a touch of realism given the scene, ironically, but I doubt that's what they're going for. Every "job" email received made me think I was being scammed by someone with a Nigerian prince brother. Tl;DR: get Blackdoor instead. It makes you actually think about how to solve problems, it's much more fun, the developer is responsive, it has a great community, and it doesn't feel like it's entirely written by AI. For about 3/4 the price.

I did not know anything about using the terminal and I guess I still don't know but it is a fun game to have a few hours to play with I hope more content is coming in the future.
Singleplayer is alright, mostly serves as a tutorial. Multiplayer was great, but due to people complaining about their websites getting scraped, a patch was introduced to implement new rules in the online mode. You can now be banned for scraping website code/credentials, copying/mirroring/publishing other player's websites/files/messages or interfacing with the game in any way outside of the terminal or the ingame unfinished scripting system. And since upgrades are cheap and make players/servers unhackable, there is no content outside of stealing from the same NPCs repeatedly or building static websites that can't be broken into. TLDR: In a game about hacking, you can get banned for hacking
