The base game contains plenty of content to experience on its own. If you enjoy your experience we have crafted a series of major expansions. This content is released with Free Updates that add many mechanics to the base game. We have also made a series of cosmetic content packs for those who want to support our development.

It has an open world where you can move freely and you can play it however you want. Fun to build and strategize with friends.
If Steam had a mixed option, that's what I would rate it. It's not a bad game by any means, but there are just... so many things I wish were better. The mount taming is fun, and I love naming my bird silly names, but then the game crashes every 30 minutes. Exploration is fun, but then your mount randomly gets stuck in a tree, and you have to cut down the tree to free it. The combat, while jank at times, is fun and fairly satisfying, but there are a thousand quality-of-life features missing. For example, you make a repair bench, but the percentage you can set in it (what percent should tools be at before you repair them) resets every time you load the save. Minor things like that. The grind, while pretty much fine near the start, becomes tedious and so annoying that I installed a resource multiplier mod just because I don't want to spend 6 hours wandering around the map to find enough Silica to make enough concrete to build a base with it. The performance is ♥♥♥♥. I don't have a NASA supercomputer, but I can play most modern games at high settings, sometimes medium, yet even at low settings I still had bad FPS here and there. This game is just a series of ups and downs, and while I'd say there are generally more ups than downs, the downs kind of made me want to quit playing.
Mob Ai (Pathing) is so bad. Everything is locked behind a paywall.

clunky controls, but superb knife animation.
Overall: This game is amazing. Haven't gotten into a game like this for a long time, but it's like a mix of Minecraft and No Man's Sky, except way better, and that's just the base game, I haven't bought any of the expansions yet, and there is still so much to do. This game is great for relaxing and world building, but full disclosure, I almost quit at the beginning because I couldn't figure out how to get oxygen. There's a learning curve for sure, but if you stick with it and utilize the Journal/Guide it tells you everything you need to know on crafting the items you need. Or better yet, just start out in the Missions section first to get a tutorial and you will level up faster. I went straight into Open World and got frustrated that way. Once you get the hang of it, however, the game becomes addicting. Also, the base game missions are longggg, very grinding. The whole game is very grindy, but rewarding if you like that sort of thing. It is crafting/survival so if you don't like that, you might want to rethink buying. How Did It Play? Graphics: First let me say I'm not someone who worries about graphics too much or even pays attention to it. If it looks decent and it's fun, I play it. My first game was Contra of Sega, okay? I'm not not a fan of hyper-realism in games as it's very distracting for me. I am playing whatever the default graphics mode is. IMO, this game is beautiful . I can sit in the chair at my cabin and look out across the lake and be mind-tricked into thinking I'm actually there. Same thing goes for when there's bad weather on the map, the storms are as if you are actually in them and genuinely worrying because it will damage your shelter and the stuff inside, depending on what your house is made of, have a repair hammer ready. Gameplay: Satisfied with everything about this game so far except I don't understand the debuff system. When I go into a cave and get cave sickness and it says counter with antibiotics, but the debuff doesn't go away. The time of debuff gets reduced when I use the first antibiotic so it would follow if you take 2 antibiotic it should keep getting reduced, but that doesn't seem to happen, even outside the cave. You are still stuck waiting and stamina decreased. On the other hand, if I get burned by poison from a worm and use the burn paste then it goes away. Same thing with an infected wound. Used the antibiotic and nothing happened unless I'm doing it wrong, which very well could be. Some Glitches: There has been frame stuttering for me sometimes but I have not bothered to mess with settings and optimize because it's not that bad. Usually it happens when I'm running somewhere and the map is probably loading. I am playing on DX 11 because it said choose that one if you have lower than a 3070. The only other glitches is that sometimes you get stuck in the trees, but you can use the axe to cut down the tree and get yourself out, or you can go to the menu (Esc). There is a button labeled Unstuck that will respawn you close to where you were with all your items intact. The only other thing I notice is that if your inventory is full and you craft something, you may lose it. Doesn't happen all the time, but I've had things disappear so make sure your inventory has an open spot. Like I said, one of the best games I've ever played. Looking forward to getting the DLC in the future and seeing what else the game and the company has to offer.
