I want more. Had a lot of fun.
Pretty fun and unique little idle game with lots to do. You spend your time collecting parts and resources, organizing them as efficiently as you can, upgrading your parts, and exploring the map. Following that main gameplay loop was really addicting and kept me hooked for hours, as you can see lol. My only complaints are that: 1) The items you can only unlock by progressing deep into the end game aren't very useful imo 2) The primary gameplay loop of collecting > upgrading > grinding gets a wee bit stale in the latter half of the game 3) The exploration of the map is a little weak, and left me wanting more Overall, though, I had fun with the game and can say im satisfied with my purchase. Would definitely recommend at least checking it out and seeing if it's for you
pretty unique idle
While I give this a good rating, it is just barely over my minimum requirements. I got about half the achievements, but have zero interest in 100%-ing this game. I cannot tell if there is anything new to do that I've not found, or if I've done it all. I've prestiegd multiple times, have the fabriacator, and did all level 4 reps - but I guess I don't care anymore? If you like games where you tune things while upgrading, it's pretty good for a while. But I don't see the long term gameplay working out for me. Try the demo - it's that with just a little more, then play on repeat. Frustrating because I really liked the first 12 hours or so while watching shows on the couch. But now I'm just dying of boredom and looking for other games.
It is a cool premise, but it's life span is short. I've only had it a few days and I feel I'm already very close to the endgame. I'm currently on v1.1.3 and I hope that they add drastically more content and fix a few mechanics. Again, I do like the game and to start out there's a lot you can do. You primarily collect equipment, resources and upgrade materials, setup and improve your layout and explore the wasteland. There are factions you can do tasks for. Upgrades feel satisfying at first, and new equipment automates a lot of processes. There is also some level of creativity in creating your setup, and there's often more than one practical way to obtain a resource, but not always. It absolutely shows more creativity than a large portion of the semi idle game genre, and while sometime slightly janky, it seems like a fairly well built and thought out game. There is a glaring issue though. Once you obtain most of the equipment, there isn't much to do but gather resources and upgrade said equipment, and it's largely automated. You may come across higher tier equipment of the same sort, but it feels like more of the same. The tasks factions assign mostly just require delivering resources, handing over resources and 'scouting nearby locations. The "augments" tech tree, is also very limited. The locations you visit feel like one and the same, and even when you're looking for something specific, you just look in the databank and find out where to get it. I'm going to recommend this game hoping that they add more content. The game needs more factions, more upgrades, more objectives, new equipment, more depth. It's a bit of "a mile wide, an inch deep" scenario.
