This world is more depressing than Cyberpunk or Grimdark. The politics are genuinely insane. That being said, I love this game. It grew on me more and more. Pallas had me dying laughing.
I do NOT usually like visual novels and romance games are hit or miss (mostly miss). I liked Fire Emblem: Three Houses but that is about as romancey as I get. I also don't like silly humor. And yet... I adore this game! The tactical fighting is good if a little simplistic but the story and the characters kept me coming back for more! I legit kept laughing out loud as I was playing this game and couldn't wait to see what happened next! The flavor text in items and battle summaries was witty and biting and I was sad when I finished the game. I am already excited to play it again!
