Pretty good template for a game Nice idea, good graphic Not a game though. There is gameplay, but it does not have any meaning. idle afk train. The actual "merchant" mechanic was removed in the last update, so now it's just "get resources during the run and sell them in a town"
I purchased this title under the impression it was still in Early Access, only to discover otherwise. I can recommend it, but only as a screensaver for a secondary monitor. Anyone hoping for greater depth should look elsewhere. The experience feels notably dry for several reasons: First, the combat lacks impact. Even when carefully leading targets and saturating them with fire, certain enemies seem inexplicably resistant, as though they were simply bulletproof. Second, the interface is bare-bones and feels almost as if it were hastily assembled by an algorithm. Tooltips are virtually nonexistent, forcing players to click through every element simply to learn its function. This left me stranded during the tutorial, unable to advance past a window after an inadvertent misclick. Third, certain contracts can be completed repeatedly while remaining in the city, creating the theoretical possibility of infinite funds. I initially assumed this was a temporary placeholder pending Early Access development. Learning that the game is not in Early Access raises legitimate concerns about the likelihood of meaningful future updates. Given its current low price, I still recommend the title, with the clear caveat that buyers understand exactly what they are purchasing. For this game to stand out on the digital shelf and appeal to the average customer, it needs: More satisfying and responsive combat Additional cities that feel distinctly different from one another and convey a genuine sense of progression A polished, informative interface complete with clear tooltips and intuitive guidance.
This has so much potential. Seems like a demo really of what could be an excellent game. I enjoy the concept but there are a ton of QOL missing and expansion on the concept. Great concept game in prototype mode unfortunately.
Ngl I actually had a lot of fun with this one. It’s the kinda game you can throw on your second monitor while studying or watching something and just check on your train every now and then The trading and upgrading loop is simple but weirdly addictive, and the drone fights are probably my favorite part I also really liked the maps and some of the names, they’ve got a pretty fun vibe. The whole post-apocalyptic train thing works surprisingly well too. Just chilling, collecting random scrap, making stuff, selling it and slowly turning your train into a better machine. It’s still a small game and you can definitely tell there’s room for more content. More maps, different materials, upgrades and maybe some train customization would be sick. I’d especially love to see some maps with completely different environments, like a snowy area, desert, or even some ruined city kinda map. Would make each run feel a lot more different imo But for what it is rn, it’s a really nice little game to chill with. Put on some music, send the train out and suddenly you’ve been playing way longer than you planned lol Definitely gonna keep an eye on this one. Would love to see what gets added in future updates

Some bugs/UI issues encountered related to separator recipes/production as well as contracts and I also don't seem to have the ability to buy any resources at the cities just sell and I can't find the parts I need to progress scrapping, you also can't see contract requirements until you're already at the city, cannot discard items during a run even though there is a button to do so... hard to complain at the price point but for a game based on inventory/production management there isn't much to help you out other than trial and error (i.e. no way to tell how much space an item takes up in storage without trial and error leading to guess at how much storage you'll need for a trip or it becomes entirely useless). Hopefully they are fixed at some point, but currently not worth playing and should be considered EA.
