Uncover the origins of organized crime in Mafia: The Old Country, a gritty mob story set in the brutal underworld of 1900s Sicily. Fight to survive as Enzo Favara and prove your worth to the Family in this immersive third-person action-adventure set during a dangerous, unforgiving era.
Enzo will do anything for a better life. After a brutal childhood of forced labor, he's ready to risk everything to become a man of honor in the Torrisi crime family.
His oath to the Mafia, with all the power, temptation, and hardship it entails, is a burning reminder of this simple truth:
Family Takes Sacrifice.
This thrilling narrative is brought to life by stunning visuals, cinematic storytelling, and the authentic realism that the critically acclaimed Mafia series is known for. Enzo's story unfolds in a time when skill with a stiletto blade was a deadly asset, a lupara sawed-off shotgun was a go-to firearm, murderous vendettas raged for decades, and mafiosi patrolled their protection rackets on foot, horseback, or behind the wheel of turn-of-the-century motorcars.

The rough-hewn beauty of Sicily's rugged countryside is a stark contrast to the grime of urban alleyways—but the treachery and violence of this gangland run just as deep. Rival families and their ruthless leaders wage unending turf wars in the shadows, hidden from the public eye. Trust is a fleeting rarity, and loyalties are worth killing for.

You're the antihero of this thrilling 1900s story, living out every tense moment of Enzo's descent into Sicily’s clandestine criminal underworld. Come face-to-face with a cast of unpredictable allies and cutthroat enemies in this classic crime drama, rich in period-authentic details that will immerse you in this treacherous Mediterranean setting.

Engage in life-or-death combat, be it up close with a blade or from afar with a variety of firearms. Ambush enemies for vicious stealth takedowns, or slice them up in close-quarters duels. If you prefer firearms, wield period-authentic handguns, rifles, and shotguns to overcome any odds and doggedly eliminate the Don's enemies.

Traverse a wide range of Sicilian environments, from underground crypts and crumbling ruins to bountiful vineyards and ornate opera houses. To reach your next target or make a hurried getaway, you'll need to gallop on horseback across cobbled streets and open fields, or speed down dirt roads in authentic turn-of-the-century automobiles.

It's an ok game that looks very nice. took me 21 hours to complete (73 hours for M3) It's very linear and has a bit of a predictable standard love story. More like Mafia 1 and 2 But for me Mafia 3 is the best of the series by far
Mafia is always the best series
The storytelling is great, it doesn't do anything new with combat or stealth, and there are flaws with the controls. I bought it on a 40% off sale and it was well worth the price. Also I'm in love with Isabella now.
Solid experience with great potential, but definitely wait for a sale. As a longtime fan of the Mafia franchise, I was glued to my screen for a few days and binged the story. The narrative is engaging and the atmosphere/visuals look genuinely stunning. However, it leaves you wanting much more: Way too short & linear: The main campaign felt like it wrapped up in around 10 hours. It really lacks a true, immersive open-world feeling or meaningful side content. Frustrating gunplay & hitreg: Shooting feels clunky. I understand handguns have recoil, but missing point-blank shots from 2 meters away while dumping a whole magazine has to be a hitreg bug. Pretty much anything other than a shotgun or a one-shot rifle feels useless to carry. Performance hiccups: While visually gorgeous, optimization is hit or miss. I can easily get stable 60+ FPS on High settings in demanding titles like Crimson Desert, but here it hovers around 55–60 FPS with micro-stutters and hitching when entering new areas or starting missions. Overall, I still recommend it for the narrative and atmosphere if you're a fan of mob games, but I really hope the next installment gives us a true open world with much more content. Pick it up on a deep discount.
I miss when Mafia was the "GTA, but with mafia". The game is good, but it has lost a lot of elements that have made the fanchise memorable. The exploration is limited, movement doesn't feels smoth, and is has a campaign so short that you will finish it in a couple of hours. The story is good, but mild compared to Mafia 2. The free exploration mode is fun to play for a few minutes, but there is almost nothing to do. The graphics are beautiful. Ilumination, textures and characters are the strong point of this game. It has very precise colors. Most of games have oversaturated colors and I personally don't like it. I got it for U$50,00 on sale and I'd say is not worth it. Maybe 25 bucks would be a considerable price for a game that you will play and once its finished, you unstall and never play again.
