Smash through the streets of Nuevo-Tokyo in a fast chaotic 2.5D roguelike beat ’em up where every run unlocks new powers, builds and ridiculous Mexican Jutsus.
Our story takes place in Nuevo-Tokyo, an offspring of chaos that was born when Japan and Mexico collided in fire, power and betrayal.
A land where a new feudal regime was forged between Narcos and Yakuzas, forming a new ruling class, The Narkuzas.
They are now the law, and the law SUCKS CULO.
Now, in the outskirts of Nuevo-Tokyo, a group of rebels is plotting against the five heads of the Narkuza clan.
Enter the Mexican Ninja…

Pela el oido, I’m going to tell you a story, eh? One full of adrenaline-pumping combat, where the streets never give you a break, no matter how many fall before you.

Precise movement, positioning and perfectly timed attacks decide every fight.
It’s a pick-up-and-play brawler that’s deceptively simple, yet deeply rewarding once you start mastering combos and builds.

Testimonials
"I couldn’t be prouder of what the whole Amber team has helped us build and bring to life through this video game. In my culture, a HERO was always needed… ****, it still is… Mexican Ninja has always been about that to me - the longing for that idea. Having profound admiration for Japanese culture, its history, and its roots, it naturally seemed like the perfect one to blend and contrast with my own. I hope players can join the fun, explore the world, and embrace all the quirks of this concept. I hope they get their asses kicked and stand up again, and again, and again—and through this dynamic, understand that Mexican Ninja is a vibe, a spirit, a way of being. I wish you a good journey in finding your inner donkey. Stay blazed"

This game is insane, in the best way possible. Great feel to combat, tons of combos and different attacks to utilize. Enemies aren't too difficult, same with bosses, but enough to give you a good challenge. Quests to unlock costumes, which in turn give you different buffs. Hidden areas and statues that also give you upgrades and buffs. Just a great hack and slash game that far exceeds the price. Just make sure kids aren't around when playing.
I don't recommend the game for a single reason: progression is not saved. You can loose progression. The developers are well aware of this specific issue but it doesn't effect them enough to find motivation to fix it. Unfortunately I've invested too much time in this pita game to get a refund. But I don't recommend buying a game where progression is not saved and plagued by known bugs the developers don't even care about.
The game has ups and downs, but the downs are way too bad for me to recommend the game. The gameplay becomes too repetitive way too fast. There's very little variation of enemies, moves, jutsus, and scenarios. The bosses are always the same. The final boss is a slug, it keeps regenerating life, to the point that it's not enjoyable to play. The humour and setting are great, but they don't hold the game on their own. The game could become great with some more content and variations in the future.

This game really respects your time by not having a slog of a grind to get upgrades (this is the biggest plus for me!) and It's much more than I anticipated when kind of blindly making the purchase due to the sale price being so affordable. The game is oozing with personality. It's fast, to the point, and packed to the brim with action like an overstuffed burr-sush-rito. You don't want to break combo streaks as you get a damage boost, there are costumes that act as modifiers, different jutsu's (skills) to unlock and quests to keep you busy as well as hidden paths in levels making it not so linear and rewards keeping an eye out. Very fun !!
