Model Kit Shop Simulator is a first-person store management game where every sale starts with a Model Kit.
Build and grow your own hobby shop by ordering master boxes, unpacking deliveries, stocking shelves, setting prices, and serving collectors and enthusiasts.
But running a successful model kit shop is not just about selling boxes. To maximize profits, you need to keep the right matching paints in stock, increase basket value through the Hobby Basket System, and give customers a place to bring their projects to life with the Build Table.
Hobby Basket System
Customers do not just buy a single kit — they start a project. When a customer picks a model kit, they may also look for the matching paints needed to complete it. If you keep those paints on your shelves, they can add them to their basket, increasing the total value of each sale. If the paints are missing, they may still buy the kit, but your basket value and profit will be lower.
Build Table System
Customers who complete the right kit-and-paint combination can pay to use a Build Table after checkout. There, they sit down, start assembling their kit, and turn a box of parts into a finished model right inside your shop. This makes your store feel more alive and adds a distinctive hobby-shop experience beyond traditional retail management.
Success depends on smart stock planning, efficient shelf management, the right product variety, and creating a store that supports both shopping and building.

good fun game... needs expanding now
Love the game so far. Very much like other simulation games but it has a few differences that i really like. Hopefully they will come out with some updates where you can actually assemble the models, even on a basic level would be very cool. Overall though i have enjoyed playing it for about 30 hours at this point and more to come,
A chill, niche retail sim that shines in atmosphere and hobby authenticity, but offers limited long term progression. My disappointments In under 9 hours I owned all licenses, expansions and products categories The core loop order boxes, unpack, stock shelves, sell doesn’t evolve much. Late game progression flattens. No competitor AI, no complex economy, limited staff management When you place larger orders, the delivery boxes arrive stacked ridiculously high—unless you order fewer than eight. It honestly feels like you’re playing Jenga, and of course they end up toppling over and spilling all over the road. We also really need more milestones. The current ones are too easy to complete, and levelling up happens so quickly that it doesn’t feel rewarding
good game, needs some fixes... the space surrounding cash register still has not been fixed to allow for better space management... (makes things absolutely frustrating when trying to consolidate space for shelving and tables)
is this a good simulator? honestly, i'm not so sure. having played a lot of simulators, i find this one rather generic. it's just a reskin of so many other different simulators of the same format. you have a large map to explore but there is nothing except your store and the collector shop. the amount of model kits available to sell aren't that great either. customers traffic are based on your shop level so whether you like it or not, they are going to increase everyday. i'm currently at level 21 and i'm already starting to see lag spikes with 100+ daily customers. you also can't assemble any of the model kits yourself.
