short cute walking sim with an anime wolf girl and low-poly graphics. The vibes of this game are rly calming, and the art style works with the lofi beats of this soundtrack to create a very surreal experience. At the end of the day the gameplay consists simply of walking around small, beautifully designed areas in order to find doors to progress, with many routes stemming from multiple doors and hidden paths. There is no way to keep track of all the different rooms you find (or if there is I didn't find it) so I found a lot more enjoyment based off just enjoying the scenery and soundtrack of the game. There are some rooms that are harder to find your way out of than others. I also have to compliment this game's menu; which is styled after a mid-2000s phone. That really pulled the whole nostalgia bundle together, and I found myself getting really emotional in certain rooms. It helped that I hit the boof before playing this too. Overall I have to recommend this to anyone who appreciates video game art pieces, because this is a really good one. That being said, I struggle to call it a "game" at all. It's a playable art collage, and I have to say, it's a really good one.
Short but cool experience, lots of unique little environments to walk through. Can be a bit frustrating to find the exit in some areas but other than that they're really pretty and cool.
A nice time. Will take you about an half an hour to an hour to complete, but the price makes it all the worth it. Some areas are very limited in their exploration, and there's not much to see, and some have slightly more depth. Think of this less as an exploration game, and more as a means to put yourself under different settings and moods and allowing your mind to wander in bite-size experiences. It's a nice time, for sure. Apparently there's a really popular multiplayer mod that allows people to meet up and chat, while also allowing you to customize your character, which the community is really enamored by, and although that's not something I'm personally interested in, it's something that is regularly brought up enough that I thought to include it in my own review, if that appeals to you.
simple little walking sim. no puzzles. no sprawling labyrinths. each play through takes you through a random selection of "rooms" though the rooms themselves are fixed. each room has a different theme related to some dreamcore thing or old computer reference. a few being walkable versions of iconic backgrounds or old screen saver. there's one room that's a platforming challenge. there's a few rooms where the character can "die" but immediately respawns. may or may not have a penalty that locks a certain achievement but i already got it on my first run. oh and gotta replay the game a few times to get the final end. the randomized order of the rooms and what rooms you get makes it interesting to replay in addition to the ambiance.
i feel at peace <3
