I have just finished P5R and 100% in my first playthrough. The game truly lives up to its fame with how fresh the story is even after a decade (if you consider the vanilla version). It's also such a perfect entrance to the whole series for newcomers. I did use some guides online, mainly for persona negotiation, and also confidant choices. Tried to avoid as much as spoiler as there are. Still, couldn't max out all confidant but still able to max out majority of them. As I expected before playing the game, I do enjoy the daily life and confidants more than the combat. Doesn't mean the combat is bad or anything, but the tight time management for confidants really boost my adrenaline and curiosity for the game. Over 100 hours well spent. I guess my heart got stolen ^^
