It's the Stone Age. Humans are not yet apex predators. We are, in fact, quite far down the list. You are a tribe leader. Your job is to take your people from desperate Paleolithic hunter-gatherers to the first permanent settlements of the Neolithic age, laying the foundations for all of human civilization. No pressure.
Along the way, you'll craft the earliest tools in human history, research technologies that separated us from every other species on Earth, build villages, manage a tribe, and navigate a world that is genuinely trying to eat you.
The Polylithic world is vibrant, colorful, and almost entirely indifferent to your survival. Forage for resources across tall forests, snow-dusted hills, and rapids that do not care about your life. Hunt everything from rabbits to mammoths, each one a unique challenge, and each one a reminder that this is, technically, their world too. Seek out other human tribes, or what's left of them, learn from their mistakes, and then don’t do that.
Gather, craft, hunt, cook, and occasionally yell at wildlife; survival in the Stone Age is a full-time occupation. Master an evolving tech tree, experiment with a cooking system that generates recipes with predictably unpredictable results, and keep your body fed, rested, and functional. You can also tame a dog. Or a hyena. Both are loyal. One is slightly more alarming. Either way, companions eat, heal, follow commands, and will absolutely judge your decision-making
Survival alone is one option. The other, the one that actually worked, is forming a tribe. As village leader, you'll manage your tribespeople's needs, grow your settlement, and guide them toward the Neolithic Revolution. They'll work, become Elders, and slowly, improbably, build something that resembles a civilization.
Not everyone will welcome your progress. Enemy tribes have their own ideas about how prehistory should go. Sandbox Mode offers an infinitely generated world for those who prefer to skip the story and cause problems at their own pace. Customize your character (it's the Stone Age, somehow), emote around the campfire, and do your best to make prehistory turn into history.
Bring up to 9 friends into your Stone Age and form your own tribe. Share resources, coordinate hunts, build together, or completely ignore the plan and do your own thing; multiplayer makes every survival story unique, unpredictable, and significantly easier to blame on someone else.
The price of Polylithic in Sri Lanka is Rs. 2,070 on VaultX.lk — currently 35% off on Steam. Pay in 3 installments with Koko or 4 with Payzy, no international card needed. It is delivered as a Steam gift to your own Steam account, usually within 3 hours of payment. Genres: Adventure, Indie.
The game is very beautiful and has a lot of potential, but right now it's so full of bugs that at some point it became unplayable for me (and I've played through a lot of early access game pains). If you're a fan of this genre, def worth giving the game a try if you're fine with early-early access quality. I think the devs stated somewhere that this is their first game and I hope they won't just abandon it but give it some more love & fixing. As I said, the game has a lot of potential and I'll gladly retry it later down the road.
Wasn't sure if this was a good buy or not at first and I've been failing miserably at almost everything I do with this. But I've actually been having fun even with the learning curve. And that's something I rarely can say about many games these days. Hope the devs will keep going with the bug fixes and new features.

This might be one of the worst games I have ever played. It is essentially a extremely early playtest, nothing works and every single feature of the game design is bad. Do not buy this game, play anything else.

My honest review... The game is a blast to play, especially with friends (yes it says single player in the tags but they added multi-player at some point and never updated the tags), it runs very smoothly and has great gameplay mechanics that i personally enjoy, my favorite little thing is how your character passively communicates with your tribe members, its so neat and i love the caveman grunts and unga bunga type language. I highly recommend picking up this gem of a game and playing the story or playing multi-player with your friends, the game is so great for what it is and its well worth the price. Get out there and unga bunga your way to a great Paleolithic civilization 🛖
its very tedious and during the first stream of quests most of the materials like clay cant even be found. I spent 20 minutes searching for my last piece of clay and couldnt find it.
