it is good
I was really excited for this back when it released into Early Access but hardly anything has changed.

A really fun rouge-like rythm game from the devs of Patapon. If you are expecting Patapon, than this game might dissapoint a little. It's quite different, you get different powerups each run and slowly upgrade your army through numerous runs. The stages are smaller and byte-sized. more randomized. It's a different challange from Patapon but I find it incredibly fun and enjoyable. Unlocking more Kobun and mixing team compositions and gameplay tactics to get that one run that will push you forward.

This is a failed Kickstarter project. So many promises ended up going unfulfilled, and the full release of the game feels and functions like a prototype. Nothing has really changed since early access, and progressing past Episode 2 is impossible due to a bug present in the game as of writing this. The developers apparently forgot to even implement a way to see if you've met the requirements to unlock Episode 3. Several errors in the English translation of early access never got fixed. No improvements on the half-baked gameplay loop and roguelike aspects have been made between early access and final release. I would not be surprised if the last year of development has been a desperate race to make the end of the game accessible and to crank out all of the ports they promised. They failed at both. I am very disappointed and wish the game received way more development time, or made smarter choices during its Kickstarter phase. I love the ideas, characters, art, and music of the game, but the actual game was too ambitious for its own good and ended up upsetting a ton of people in the end. I feel bad for whoever helped crowdfund this game.
