Simply a fantastic game 10/10. Firstly im a sucker for pixel art style and this game is simply beautiful. Its a unique fighting mechanic that requires you to learn the bosses attack patterns and counter attack rather then going in guns blazing. It's also a really decent story with my only real complaint being the direction they took with the big bad guy. But besides that your given a great cast of characters that through only minor interactions you really feel like you get to know them.
Love the boss rush style and the mechanics are tight. The lovecraft atmosphere is very cool with a great soundtrack alongside it.
While this game is short, it is one of the greatest games I have ever played. The difficulty is perfect. You die immediately to new bosses but learn them very quickly, but it still takes some time to master them. The story is amazing and boss design flawless. 10/10 highly recommend. I have also never seen a game be so cool and gory but so adorable at the same time.
Took me about 8 hours to 100% this game making it my 3rd 100%. At times it was rough because i dont play boss rush games often but it was a very enjoyable time. Its definitely a good game and hope to see more from these people
