The game is fine for the price, though it honestly lacks the variety you see in other games of the same genre, such as Balatro. The use of AI isn't noticeable, and the creator's transparency about it should be seen as a good thing, considering how many other creators use AI tools as assistants. The fact that its use was only disclosed some time after the game's release is a bit scummy, but the creator seems honest in their response, stating that AI was used strictly as an assisting tool while maintaining their original vision. All in all, this is an alright experience for the price. Nothing groundbreaking, but far from mediocre. Also, as of writing this review, the modding scene is still in its early stages, so hopefully, more content will become available in the future thanks to community contributions.

gameplay loop gets boring *very* quickly also AI usage wasn't disclosed until recently. i wouldn't have bought the game had i known AI was used.

A very fun Tetris clone with new blocks and mechanics that are lots of fun even for casual players. As for the AI usage, my stance has shifted over time. I have seen many people I would consider credible begrudgingly talk about how AI can genuinely save time on work that is very tedious or time-consuming. At the very least AI-assisted coding is distinct from vibe-coding, which is for when code is entirely unreviewed by human eyes. For the AI sounds and music I am disappointed.
