I'd rather recommend it than not, but the game clearly has issues, mostly on the quality side. But good things first. Gameplay-wise it's a solid incremental game with interesting interplay between components and good pacing. There were nice a-ha moments when I discovered connections between different planets and prestige builds which boost progression. It also doesn't artificially stretch itself and can be finished in about 10h. I liked the visual style and music - one theme was very memorable and I am still humming it. Overall it was a nice experience. But there were some downsides as well - a bunch small things which don't ruin the game but keep catching the eye. Late game felt a bit rushed and not well balanced. Several of the last planets doesn't seem to be really necessary to progress. Buy buttons are buggy - they don't allow to buy when maximum is reached, but the planet still accepts drones which are in-flight. This can be cheesed for extra gains: accumulate let's say 500 drones, then hold buy button and until you release all 500 will deploy on a target planet, instead of max 200. Sound design wasn't great and when many drones are dispatched to a planet their ticks add up and sound jarring. Lack of anti-aliasing made it look unpleasant at times, especially when zoomed out. Orbits are polygonal and pretty jagged. Same is for star engine - it doesn't move smoothly. These are simple circle movements and easy to do, so I see it as a quality issue, not a design choice.
Love the soundtrack, perfect music for this game. The visuals are really nice as well. I normally dislike idle games but this held my attention all the way through!
i've played a good bit of incremental games, but i just dont find this one very rewarding or enjoyable, if i could leave a mixed review i would because it isnt terrible, just boring.
it runs well and all but the cost of the drones goes up wayyyy too much and by the late game it takes like 5 minutes to get a singe one and theres also a limit on prestige points
