Living a bit of that cat life in this game was an absolute purrrrrrrr and no hiss…. The part which proper impressed me was the visual style. To the details of it all from the clothing on the robots to the reflections from neon lights and the open sections to explore as a stray starts to make this world feel like a real place which made me curious like a cat to find out what’s going on.
An emotional rollercoaster. Stray had me mad, it had me sad and it also had me happy. This game is everything you'd want from a story game. It's difficult but not too difficult. It's story is captivating but it also give you enough autonomy to make your own decisions. The fact that it is also priced so reasonably and playable for both Macbook and PC, makes it a genuine gem. You should definitely buy this.
Playing a cat is cute and fun, and the world building is engaging, but the gameplay loop and plot are very basic. There is no complexity, no surprise. The game is likely made for preteens rather than adults.

Overall Rating: Highly Recommended (10 / 10) Review: Stray is easily one of the most unique and memorable atmospheric adventure games I’ve played. Controlling an orange stray cat navigating a walled cyber-city populated by robots feels exceptionally fresh, and the execution is remarkably smooth from start to finish. What I Liked: Immersive World & Visuals: The neon-lit, dystopian cyberpunk setting is rich with environmental detail, vibrant lighting, and incredible scale. Exploring every alleyway feels rewarding. Authentic Cat Animations: The movement dynamics—jumping across pipes, squeezing through small openings, scratching rugs, and having a dedicated meow button—feel extraordinarily life-like. Heartfelt Narrative: The bond between the cat and B-12 (the drone companion) drives a surprisingly emotional story about loss, memory, and hope. Atmospheric Sound Design: The synthwave soundtrack perfectly complements the mood, shifting effortlessly between peaceful exploration and high-tension moments. Minor Drawbacks: Short Playtime: The main story takes around 4 to 6 hours to complete. However, the pacing is tight, and there is no filler content. Linear Platforming: Jumping relies on contextual button prompts, meaning you cannot fall or miscalculate jumps. Verdict: Stray is a masterpiece of environmental storytelling and design from BlueTwelve Studio. Whether you are a cat lover or simply a fan of immersive, story-driven adventure games, this is an absolute must-play.
