Being inspired by old-school stealth and heist games along with modern physics platformers, Penguin Heist aims to breathe new life into the genre with a modern physics engine along with multiplayer. You pick your mission, your loadout, and you set out on your mission. Use your tools, weapons, and wit to infiltrate, steal, and exfiltrate as well as you can. Penguin Heist features a variety of heist locations that all have their unique flair. One heist will have you stealing boats full of fish, another might have you stealing valuable works of art, and yet another may require you to kidnap a prized chef. However, it is the job of a penguin to figure out the way that they want to execute their heist. Loud or silent, lethal or non-lethal - there is no right answer... there is only the way you play!
As you progress through the game, you will unlock new weapons, tools, and items. These range from normal guns to drones to explosives to food. Each item has a special feature that can be used to complete a heist. See a pair of penguins guarding a door? You can blast them into oblivion with dynamite and a minigun, you can poison them with stinky fish, you can lure them away and sneak in, you can distort gravity and run past.
While a penguin can be proficient with every weapon and know heisting in and out, what is a penguin without style? Customize your penguin's skin, headwear, facewear, and clothes. There are hundreds of items to choose from!
As an addition to the regular stores, the Post Office offers special deliveries as well as unique and epic items. It also serves as the purchase point for properties. Yes, you can buy land and a house, and decorate it as you wish with your hard-earned fish coins.
In Penguin Heist, items and weapons are unlocked by finding blueprints. These can be obtained from completing quests or by exploring. Some are easy, others are hard, and that's why one of the features of the Library is to provide hints to the player.
Disclaimer: Please note that this is a physics game. The penguins have simulated joints and the controls are therefore not as responsive as your average game. You may find the controls "janky", which is completely the result of the physics simulation.

No way this is worth $15. Feels like something you'd play for free on Roblox. I can't find a bit of fun in this, and there's no way any game is worth playing if it's fun "after 2 hours." Not to mention it crashed when we were about to finish the first level.

As its title indicates, [b]The Greatest Penguin Heist of All Time[/b] is in fact "the greatest penguin heist (game) of all time". Is clandestine-penguining too niche a category, for any of that to seem remarkable? You decide, but I can tell you this... I personally, will be seeking-out more penguin related crime content in the future because of this game's influence. What I love: The penguins (obviously), but also the way their movement and slightly wonky physics add to the hilarity of interacting with a dangerous, corrupt and uninviting cartoon world overrun by penguinesque thugs, cultists, cannibals, zealots, mutants, undead, wizards, junkies, etc... The locations you're sent to work your penguin espionage, burgling, assassinations, and various other acts of ill-repute, are large, colorful and an enjoyable challenge to explore. What's just ok: The missions bank a little heavily on the "isn't carrying items/penguins far a little awkward?" trick. You'll be dragging someone/something across the map on every mission. What salvages that aspect is the freedom you're given to blaze your own meandering path through those challenges; wanna sneak through undetected? Well done. Wanna go full-on guns and grenades against your opponent? That's fine too. You penguin how you wanna do crimes, ok? Get that fish grip, homies. What's not so neat: For a stealth and sneaking centered game design, darkness and bushes sure don't obscure the player much. Enemy-AI sees right through that and will dead-aim you right outta your false sense of security; ruins immersion and often forces me to hurl obscenities at my monitor then rage-restart. There's also some pretty unignorable gaps (you just fall right through), invisible walls, and unaligned props in the maps that probly should have been caught/fixed during testing. None of it ruins the experience, or breaks the game though. Disclosure: I don't have time in MP heists, so I can't comment on CO-OP penguin gameplay, but conceptually it seems like a fun time. I don't have any Survival/Race matches completed, so I can't comment on those either. However, I will update my experience with this game as I progress through it; flipper swear. In summation, buy a copy then plan and hit licks with your penguin clique!! ...and "noot" at'cha boy if the penguin-police are on the block.

Difficult to control, then it leads you to a pitch black cave, on the first mission no idea what to do. might as well just turn off the monitor and press random buttons on the controller Waste of money, sorry i purchased it
