I tried the game. I did read its early access, but I gave a chance. It wasn't a good choice. There are a lot of issues with the game as like controlling wise, menu navigation wise and unscripted problems. Personally I cannot really giving good review about it, because the game does not meet with the added hype or requirements as it been showed. This is a CTRL+C & CTRL+V game from Coral Island within lower basics and unnecessary issues around controlling. If the game will be developed further, please try to have a look on these issues. I understand that Coral Island made quite of an impact and reached a level above within these type of games, but I think you must decide you want to make a copy of that game or something else, because this game right now have nothing more, but struggle, copies around. I cannot control properly the game, because if I gathering, I need to move the cursor, moving with WASD and hitting E several times to make sure I got my stuff. The zoom in+out also not helping, because above of the cursor then I must be a photographer as well. The driving is simply unbearable. The WASD moves are not enough, I did think maybe it would be easier to use controller, but that was worst. I tried to keep focusing on the good things and I do understand developing games are not the easiest job type around the world nowadays, but I do believe if you would focus on the game and not on the other games, maybe this game could have a chance too.

I was hesitant to purchase this game given all the reviews from when it first arrived on Steam. I picked it up on sale after seeing there had been numerous hotfixes to it since the release and decided to take the plunge. Honestly I wasn't as disappointed as I expected to be. The devs have certainly been trying to get things fixed and a lot of the early complaints about lack of tutorial have seem to be addressed or is solved by the controls being displayed on the UI. IT IS STILL EARLY ACCESS. So, it isn't perfect and there will still be bugs and issues that come up as well as improvements that can be made. If you want a perfectly polished game then DON'T PLAY IT. Some things about my personal experienced in the limited amount of time I have played. Cons: I do love that the map is LARGE, and I assume it will fill in as time goes on as there does feel like a lot of empty space. Driving is not cozy tbh. Damage to vehicles, laws to be followed, and (coming from a professional driver) a lot of dumb vehicles on the road. Vehicles are hard to control on the speed side and I don't enjoy it at all, so I may just stick to the subway or taxis for the time being till it is hopefully improved. Looking through the discord I found my answer, but the game requires materials for certain things and then also doesn't tell you where to always get the materials, which can be frustrating pretty quick. Pros: The freedom once you get passed the tutorial stuff is amazing. Getting to build things from scratch is great as I hate games that force a certain layout of things. The fact that we can expand our ranch/farm is nice and is made easy to figure out as long as you pay attention to things. While I am not too far into the game, the "main characters /npcs" of the game do seem to be a bit deeper than excepted and aren't flat so that's nice. Overall the game looks and sounds more promising than when it first came out on Steam, hopefully the des continue to improve, and given it sounds like they are a very small team, hopefully they get some more help to better serve the game community they are trying to reach.

The game seemed fun but its so buggy. I just cant recomend it currently. It keeps getting stuck on quests and basically I can't play further because the quest person just disappeared and no amount of leaving and returning has fixed it. Just overall annoying

I wanted to share some feedback because I’ve been genuinely surprised by how much I’m enjoying The Ranchers. Stardew Valley has been my favorite farming game for years, and The Ranchers is already right up there with it for me. That’s especially impressive considering the game is still in Early Access and there isn’t a lot of NPC dialogue or relationship development yet. What has really hooked me is the freedom to build and develop my ranch the way I want. I love being able to design my property, build my own house and barns, raise animals, grow crops, automate parts of the ranch, and keep expanding it. Even after reaching the end of the currently available quests, I still have plenty that I want to do because I’m creating my own goals. There is definitely a learning curve, and I’ve had some hilarious disasters along the way, but figuring things out has become part of the fun. For a first game, what your team has created is incredibly ambitious. I’m really looking forward to seeing the world, quests, animals, NPCs and other features continue to grow throughout Early Access. Please keep going. You have something very special here. ❤️

I truly enjoy playing this game, it has a touch of Stardew valley, Coral Island, and a little GTA. it's fun. I can't wait for more of the game to be released. I understand it is still early access, but that won't stop me from playing this game for many hours. only slight complaint is the driving portion of the game. it's a little unresponsive at times, and my wife and I can't wait for the coop to be up and running. Thank you.
