Twisted Tower reminds me of two of my favs: Bioshock and Alice: Madness Returns in looks and despite that the game has its own identity. I enjoyed every minute of it. It has funny moments, I love the weapons and their designs, and the dark, wacky atmosphere. It's a pretty good shooter, and alternate paths open up for replay which is very nice.
Really liked the gameplay of this one very bioshock-esque I liked how there were more levels then it seemed and it felt like a 3d realms game. There is a new game plus mode Ill most likely play but I loved it other than it was very short main run under 4 hours
Bioshock 3 this isn't. What twisted tower is instead is an atmospheric, unimpressive romp through an abandonded, dark amusement park ran by the mysterious Mr. Twister. It has a story that barely holds, an artstyle that does not commit hard enough to any part of its cocktail of elements and combat that falls apart at the end, hoping your amount of healing outlasts the near unavoidable damage. I can't in good faith recommend it, though I think there's a lot of potential here. Perhaps a TT2 could push itself and refine the elements that are missing in this first one.

Overall good fun to price ratio. Bioshock inspired but actually though more Kiss Psycho Circus the nightmare child as clown horror. Bioshock goes to some interior design and some of the guns and a bit of sound. Mostly well laid out and straight forward with few tricks such as perspective. Enjoyed it but wouldn't want to pay more than I did for game. Found standard difficult a resonable challenge and difficult well structured with each new enemy being very distinct and tended to be added with a new gun. Twist was telegraphed quite well ahead of it reveal which is a bit of shame as would it be nicer to be bigger.
I have just finished the game. I totally recommend it, the gameplay is fun and the history keep you playing until discover the mistery of the twisted tower
