Too slow paced. The prestige can be missed for hours if you don't see it in time.
I wanted to like this game more than I do
Its not the best incremental game but the dev does some really fun hidden upgrades in the skill tree. I LOVE it when there are quirks and secrets in the upgrade trees that have that infinite scrolling effect. I want more incrementals to do that and learn from this.
Honestly, this one really hits the balance for me between a straightforward game loop, a skill tree with enough options and improvements that feel tangible and valuable, and a prestige system that does the same. The story is unique, a little cryptic but ultimately feels very human, very real, and I enjoyed it. The game has surprisingly more depth than expected, just enough to keep it interesting mechanically with Equipment, Ancestors and a few passive resource sources you can manage (simple enough to be satisfying without being a huge chore). It took my maybe 7 hours or so to finish the game? I enjoyed it. The gameplay loop is gratifying and clean but complex enough to feel like you're not literally just spamming runs. Minimal grinding required but not none, it is an incremental after all. An honest offering!
