I really love this game, I have to remind myself to relax there is no rush in serving the customers, no one is going to stomp off and leave a bad review. So fun and relaxing. I finished all assigned goals but now I like to make pizza extravaganza evening or sweets and espresso only, some nights it is just appetizers and wine. I hope to get some more goals but for now I am having a great time.
epic game
I normally don't like cooking games, but I'm really enjoying this one!
I like this game a lot, it's one of those games that I can just hop in from time to time, and play for 1-2 hours for a "shift". The game has a lot of great ideas, but can use some polishing for sure. - The overall cooking mechanics is good. It's simple, but has enough complexity to not just be a tap-tap-tap kind of cooking. There's enough "realism" that makes it more fun. Some recipes, however, are really tedious, particularly layered things like Lasagne. It just takes so much time to prepare just 1 dish. I ended up disabling lasagne because of this. - Really need to be able to carry more stuff, or at least have a good way to store prepped items in batches, e.g. pasta sauces, cut items, prepared dough need to be displayed one by one. Plus putting items down on a table is really inconsistent and glitchy, so I end up spending unnecessary time trying to line things up. - I recognize there's some use of AI here and there, but honestly the music is kinda addictive and vibey - I like the idea of having to go to different stores to buy stuff, and doing food delivery too, both force us to explore and enjoy the beautiful town a bit more and breaks up the routine. But after a while, you only really need to go to one store which is right next door. Food delivery is also good, and I enjoy it, but I wish the annoying reminder phone calls would stop. I mean, the game advertises itself as being no stress and that customers will wait for you, so why are the food delivery customers so impatient? :D - Winery is interesting and a nice addition (especially now that we have fast travel). I wish we could do more there. Can we have the option to have a second restaurant at the winery instead? - There's a good amount of recipes currently, but I am enjoying it so much that I just want more! I hope we'll get enough recipes that we can have some specialized restaurants, such as Pizza-only restaurant or desserts / cafe. The pastas so far are a bit same-y though (Pasta + some kind of sauce + cheese) - except that cursed Lasagne.
I absolutely love this game and I'm a bit addicted if I have to be honest. It is so chill, I love all the cooking aspects of it, decoration, making the wine etc. One thing I'm not a fan of, though I'm not sure if I just haven't found a work around for it yet, is that as you upgrade the equipment you're locked into making multiple of the same dish, even if you only need one. Would be awesome if we could manually select how many we want to make. But besides that, I have no complaints!
