One of the best bullet hells of all time
Holy cow what a great game. Brutal as heck, that's for sure, but it does everything right. There are many ways to approach each boss and it is a wonderful time figuring out how you want to play. The spell mechanic is an INCREDIBLE risk reward system, and also not required at all to beat the game. Buy it!

WHAT A GREAT GAME!! It’s tough but fair. The soundtrack is excellent, too. Definitely go give it a try. The only thing i felt was missing was a bit more lore. There are small interactions with some bosses throughout the game, which is really cool, but i think a little more backstory for our character would have been a nice addition (like there is in Cuphead, for example). That said, i also understand the choice to leave everything open to the player's interpretation. The game feels complete, yet i still see so much more potential. I hope there’s new content in the future.
