This game definitely has an audience, probably the only reason it's sitting where it is. Devs. Your combat needs some serious work. Every single one of your starter critters start off with the one attack that is a projectile shot. The dragon in particular has this marvelous habit of shooting the ground, not because that's where the enemy is, not because the ground is too high, no. You put the origin for where that instance emerges *underneath its mouth as opposed to say either the top of its head or at eye level.* Even worse, its Q skill; the gatling shot; is also placed under him. Fortunately that one actually travels over terrain to avoid hitting the ground itself, but it's still right underneath its mouth making it a potential misfire. Nowhere near as bad as the E; the will o swarm skill; actually being too low for the descending shots to actually track the enemies inside the ring to hit them directly thus giving us the first complaint but in an even worse application since that goes on a cooldown on use. *Which I'd be willing to forgive in this since these are just level adjustments for variables if not for the fact that your enemy AND minion/pet AI is in the gutter.* They hardly move, they do not do erratic movements or bobs and weaves in between attacks to attempt to bamboozle the player, fleeting as the effort might well be but at least they'd do something other than just take 2 steps to the side of you, pause and then attack you. You also have the misfortune of your beginning section not having nearly enough aggressive enemies to make this absence a non-issue for gameplay as them swarming you like that would at least prove a degree of competence in neighbours; like say the Sentinels in No Man's Sky. Even in the beginning days of that game; for as simple as the AI for floater type enemies are; they still had functions to keep their numbers going and thus give the combat teeth and pressure. Of course it works also because of the setting NMS takes place in so I'm not asking that you necessarily make a push in that direction. What I *am* saying is that your creatures in this world that you have constructed are DEAD. They are wild animals but they have the self-preservation of a snail. The best one you have is the bloody Rocklings, and that isn't saying much cuz they're melee. I ain't expecting them to leap about the field but with how fast them boys are *and* the distance they cover compared to the birds and the crabs? ESPECIALLY THE BIRDS THAT MOVE 1 tiny foot and sit for 2 seconds before attacking again? If you don't deal with this system now, any expansion you do with regards to the framework of this game is going to bleed into whatever eventual endgame that this game winds up getting. Then you're gunna have a crap ton of work to do making every one of these critters actually not stupid. Yes. There's a level system that basically makes such things supposedly redundant. Palworld's AI has been doing what I'm suggesting your AI does *SINCE IT WAS IN EARLY ACCESS.* And that game also has a leveling system from since then. I commend you for making the game better optimized after the first launch, but I am terribly sorry that everyone else is enamored by the aesthetics to the point where they forgot the game's supposed to game. TLDR; Fix your combat. Cuz your AI is terrible. Your ads are wild animals, they need to act like they're wild animals.
The game is still early access but I love it so much. It is really fun.
Exploring this game was fun. Very nice visuals and combat is pretty fun as well. Did not really feel the need to build much of a base as it was not important to progression. All you really need to do is lay your hearth and crafting tables. Looking forward to new content in the future.
Runs great on my PC and Steam Deck. Seriously under hyped and underrated game, this game should be all over social media, its not only beautiful its super fun to play, especially with friends. You can play with friends and follow the story together, I would recommend a personal account to play on when your friends can't play with. When you unlock the broom the game really starts to become addictive, to travel around the map in the sky is a whole new feeling. You can really see the effort that went into this beautiful game and can't wait for the next update.
i love everything about it. I do hope that developers would add a function where you can dismantle your gear and it gives you materials since i filled up my chests with so much wands and spellblades LOL. That, I also hope they could add in arrows buttons for controls, it'll be much easier for people who are left handed.
