This game does not force you to follow the main storyline passively. Instead, it lets you step directly into cultivation roleplay. A thousand players will experience a thousand unique versions of World Apart. This cultivation world moves at your own pace. Beyond the main quest, you can transcend tribulations, engage in duels, explore secret realms for treasures, and uncover side stories. Every AI NPC here has their own personality and temperament. You will never know which casual chat might unlock a fateful encounter. Furthermore, character performances, cutscenes, QTE combat, and spell battle effects are crafted to a lifelike standard. Wander mountains and cave abodes while creating your own adventures — it’s easy to lose yourself in the gameplay.
This game brings realism to both visuals and gameplay. Stunning AI female characters accompany you on your cultivation journey, with first-person interactions comparable to scenes from a xianxia fantasy film. Built-in AI lets NPCs become your beloved "white moonlight", as you strive for immortality in this world. No need to memorize pill recipes to craft miraculous elixirs; whether you brew an immortal pill or blow up the furnace depends entirely on your skill. Experience the gacha-like thrill of gemstone gambling unique to the cultivation world, every scrape gets your heart racing. You can also use your spiritual sense to detect demons and unmask impostors, plus secret realm treasure hunts with hit-and-run exploration. These xianxia gameplay mechanics bring constant surprises and will hook you deeper and deeper the more you play.
This title offers diverse open-ended cultivation gameplay. You may formally join a sect, and gain abundant mental arts, combat techniques, and immortal artifacts through righteous or wicked deeds. Multiple paths await you: righteous cultivator, demonic cultivator, rogue cultivator and more. You can raise your cultivation level through bonds with companions and worldly social interactions, start from scratch as a wandering cultivation outlaw, or even become a wanted demonic fugitive hunted by the realm. Furthermore, the game balances life simulation and cultivation. There are no mandatory progression quests. You control the pace of your practice and forge your very own unique path of cultivation.
This cultivation world truly remembers everything, as if you have stepped into a massive live mystery role-play game. All NPCs support deep interactions. You can chat freely by typing with common townsfolk, cultivators, sect prodigies, and your Dao Companions at any time. You may also persuade others with your words to obtain items, unlock hidden storylines, exclusive blessings and special quests. Your every action and moral choices are recorded in real time, subtly shifting how NPCs treat you and altering the direction of future storylines.

Great potential but English translation is broken. There are way many chinese parts making game impossible to understand and master it. Even some quest request chinese dialogue and answers you need to type in chinese which is impossible if you are not chinese. We live in AI age, game is AI driven... Its frustrating to see language barrier.
WARNING: THIS IS AN "AI GAME," where a lot of its content is AI-generated. World Apart is probably my second-favorite cultivation game after Tale of Immortal. World Apart, just like Tale of Immortal, offer an immersive choice-driven gameplay experience where you can become an orthodox Sect disciple who changes partners every day for dual cultivation with his harem, or become a solo, wanted slaughtering Demon who absorbs the souls of his enemies into his Soul Flag. The game offers Open World Cultivation, turn-based RPG combat, with the storytelling leaning heavily toward an FMV-style AI-generated presentation, while some parts use a Visual Novel-style format. Even though the content is AI-generated, the quality is surprisingly good. At times, I genuinely feel like I'm playing another FMV game. What's even more interesting is that World Apart offers AI-chat NPCs / dynamic conversations with NPCs. Similar to Where Winds Meet, you can interact with NPCs and say pretty much whatever you want. You can even solve some of their problems without spending energy if you're able to persuade them. I was even able to talk my way into becoming a disciple of a lone Late Golden Core Realm master, which was pretty cool. While the game's overall complexity—especially when it comes to farming monster materials and herbs for Alchemy, the Sect system, and other features—doesn't quite match Tale of Immortal, I actually think this makes the game more accessible. It can be enjoyed by both casual players and beginners without being too overwhelming. And of course, because World Apart is still in Early Access, it has its own flaws. So far, I've found two things that bother me while playing the game. First: English localization. The English localization still needs more work. While the game already offers English as a language option, it's not always perfect. I would say it's around 80% complete. Sometimes, certain words or sentences aren't translated at all and are still displayed in Chinese. There is also an occasional text overflow issue, where the English text goes outside the UI box because the interface doesn't properly accommodate longer English strings. This is understandable since English sentences can be significantly longer than the original Chinese text, but it can still be a little annoying. Second: the dialogue box bug. There is a bug where the dialogue box with an NPC can get stuck. The NPC keeps talking, but the dialogue box stops responding and I can't click to proceed to the next line. My workaround for this is to repeatedly click or speed up the dialogue with the left mouse button before the dialogue automatically stops, so that the text stays synchronized with the voice acting. It's not a huge issue, but it can definitely be annoying when it happens. Overall, despite these issues, I'm really enjoying World Apart. Considering that it's still in Early Access, I think the game has a lot of potential, especially with its dynamic NPC conversations and the freedom it gives you in choosing how to play your character. and specially right now the cultivication limit is Foundation Estabilishment, i cant wait to see how it will be in Golden Core, Nascent soul and so on

An interpreter is essential for a non Chinese speaker to play at all, the graphics and overall style is beautiful and immersive, the Lore is deep with a steep learning curve if your unfamiliar with the Xanxia theme, the game mechanics are fairly simple with a play at your own pace style that I find enjoyable, the AI chat is pretty decent and novel, its early days but so far I'm enjoying it even as a non Chinese speaker but it is tedious, hopefully there will be an English adaption eventually to make it even more fun.
